Welcome to Center Church, the First Church of Christ in Hartford. Founded in 1632; we are a progressive congregation of the United Church of Christ and are committed to carrying out the teachings of Jesus through ministry to immediate urban needs as well as offering visions for a just and equitable society.  We're 375 years old, but our thinking is not!

At Center Church, we believe that faith is a journey, not a destination.
