WOMEN'S GROUP AT CENTER CHURCH
Several years ago two new women members
of our church started a monthly dinner group. I never asked them
why, but I imagine it was a way to get to know other church members
and enjoy time together. It was a great idea. We meet on the third
Tuesday of most months and we meet in each other's homes. The food
is great, and the conversations are spirited. There is no agenda! I
always look forward to these occasions to spend time with women from
my church family; some I've known for much of my life, and some I
may be meeting for the first time. Our numbers vary anywhere from
a few to a dozen or fifteen, depending on people's schedules. Each
meal and time spent together is a special treat graciously offered
and lovingly received.
